INCURANCE COVER FOR GEYSER REPLACEMENT/MAINTENANCE
If the geyser of a unit needs to be replaced or repaired, the owner must get a plumber to do the work, pay the plumber and send the invoice plus proof of payment with attached claim form to the complex office. The owner also needs to provide bank details to enable HBC to pay over the money once they receive it from the insurance company.
Limit for claims: Geyser replacement - 100Lt = R5000, 00
- 150Lt = R5200, 00
Geyser repairs - R1000, 00
First amount payable: Replacement of geyser - R1000, 00
Repair of geyser - Nil
Resultant water damage in same unit - Nil
Resultant water damage to adjacent unit (must be separate claim) -
R1000, 00
